Just a very big thank you for continuing to include your really good reporting on the Arch at Arlington National Cemetery. It seems that this is the only place I can find out what’s going on. 🥰
Thank you Scott for the awesome good-bye reporting today. I look forward to reading it every morning.
Also, thank you for continuing to report on the destruction of DC by the King Midas regime. I can’t imagine how much it will cost the American people to de-gold everything he’s touched. Keep up the fantastic reporting!
I am unsure about how you somehow manage to keep up with everything that is going on plus keeping a presence on TV and the radio. But thank God you do it and share it with your community. Just wanted you to know I appreciate all of your hard work to keep us informed! Thanks, Scott.
I have been watching the Tarrant county voting meetings myself. They have been very contentious. The election board is not giving a good reason for reducing the polling places so we will see how this turns out.
Good morning, Scott! Goodbyes may be tough at times, but at others they are welcome. Looks like it’s the latter case this morning.
I was caught by your reference to the big money in Haley Steven’s primary, not having helped her out. We just learned of a similar buy in VT. One of the two women vying for the democratic primary win for governor, received a large donation from a NY based super PAC yesterday. Apparently she did not ask for it, nor does she have to accept it, and she reportedly hasn’t. They are putting money into ad buys for her which are already appearing. Some voters are looking askance at this sort of “donation” which does seem a little sketchy, although it’s apparently legal.
The gold leaf on the statues looks tacky and fake. Gold leaf on a finial or weathervane atop a steeple brings attention to something that might otherwise be missed. Gold leaf on a large statue hides details and shadows that allow you to see the artistry, and it destroys the overall effect. Thumbs down on this project!
Looking forward to your talk with Heather Cox Richardson!
Living in Vermont, I have definitely noticed the tv ads, signs, etc for one democratic woman candidate over the other. When I heard them speak together in Rutland I could see the strengths in both. The heavy ads for one candidate is giving me the ick and wondering who wants her to win so badly.
Two things. NBC is the only news org. that’s called for El Sayed. There are 160,000 votes still be counted in Wayne Cty. They like Stevens there, but there’s no guarantee she’ll win. It’s still too close to call….Second, is those statues that the moron had gold leaf put on are bronze. Why are they bronze; because it survives the vagaries of the weather. Gold leaf does not. With rain and cold that very expensive taxpayer money paid for gold leaf will flake off.
are democrats poised to say goodbye to the priority of funding isreal
You are greatly apprecitated Scott!
My coffee tastes better today....less bitter. How about yours?😂😂😂
What a great cup of coffee it is 😊👏

I imagine it will take one Washington winter, and the gold leaf will be blown away by the scouring winter winds.

This is a tight race. That's for the analysis of your day and I hope you have a great day
Thank you! A bit of light today. As the Beatles sang: "I don't know why you say good-bye, I say hello..." to the blue wave in 2026.
We're not as stupid as you thought....next stop... November baby!
Thank you Scott!
Thank God we have enough people in Michigan that see money in politics has caused all this chaos
The Tarrant County cutback in polling sites is not yet a done deal:

The board has pushed off its decision until Sept. 1.
Can't wait for your talk with HCR. She is my hero!
