We hope the DSCC is making this investment as well in states such as Maine and Iowa as well as other states. Talarico seems to have a great deal of money. Michigan is also really important!
Hello Linda, having lived in Texas for ten years, I can tell you that rural Texans are more likely to be conservative, even referred to as " Bible thumpers." James Talarico went to seminary, which helps him in ranching, farming, and small rural areas. Also, he has demanded the release of the Hoffman files, part of a sweetheart deal granted by his opponent, Ken Paxton, in which an admitted child molester was given 29 days in jail and did not have to register as a convicted sex offender. Sound familiar? I may be premature, but Talarico may be the first Democratic Senator in Texas in decades.
You need to expand to TN-8. It is winnable, their are plenty of people here that voted blue. I was in TN-9 with Justin J. Pearson. Until the bastards split our seat. Fuck Marsha Blackburn and her racist shit. The Governor race is up for grabs!
This is very encouraging news! The only surprise to me is that Representative Max Miller (OH-7) has only shifted to "Leans Republican"—though with four months left until November, there's still plenty of time for that to change.
Watch Kansas also? There are some strange things going on in Kansas. Dems may not win however, I think it will be closer than people imagine. Especially because the GoP is not spending money to boost their candidates in Kansas.
This is terrific news for IN5, which has a strange and ineffective GOP representative, Victoria Spartz, who is being challenged by an outstanding Democratic state legislator, J.D. Ford.
Great news! Speaking as an Independent voter, I hope there is bright blue tsunami 🌊🌊🌊 in the Nov. 3rd midterm elections. Until Trump & MAGA are all gone from the White House, I can assure you I will never vote for a Republican again. Until Sept 2024, I had never donated to any political candidate or organization. Now, I donate to Democrats across the country with great hope for an America that is for ALL of us, not just the ultra-rich & connected only.
Good for you, Lisa. I cannot donate a lot, but I can donate $1/ month. That doesn't sound like much, but it helps each candidate prepare a monthly budget. That allows planned spending in strategic areas of the campaign.
Definitely, Brenda - any amount helps because it adds up quickly!! I am a small dollar monthly donor myself to multiple candidates. I give $2/mth to US Rep candidates, $3 mth to US Senator and Governor candidates, and $5/mth to the DNC, DCCC, DSCC & DGA. Per mth, I donate approx $120 to Democrats only. I warned my husband after Trump was elected that I couldn't sit quiet anymore, and I was joining the fight with all I had which may mean giving up our summer vacation to help Democrats win. He hates Trump and MAGA too so he was OK-ish about the decision. My two oldest siblings (ages 79 / 73) are FOX “news” watchers who love Trump, and my husband has seen the problems it has caused throughout our family, as our extended family sincerely looks like the United Nations when we used to all get together for the holidays. I always have loved the diversity, multicultural and genuine acceptance of my family.
Lisa, as we used to say in Texas, " Good on ya, girl!" I asked a campaign staffer, what helps the most? Five dollars here or there, or a small monthly donation? They advised monthy. My own family has had changing dynamics due to Trump. We older ones do not speak of Trump. However, I heard from my niece two months ago, that they are done. Their son can't afford a down payment on a small, modest home, their daughter can't find a small apartment in a decent neighborhood, their granddaughter lost CHIPs insurance, and the War on Iran was the last straw.
It's reassuring to hear that some of your family may be seeing the light about Trump. Hoping they all vote Blue in November, or at least stay home if they can't get themselves to vote Democrat. 🤣 Unfortunately, no movement from my siblings ... they still are on the dark side. 🙄
Ah, Lisa, I hate to hear that. My niece's husband works for a major oil company, and he is really upset about gas prices. He said no oil company is producing more or refining more, but they are making record profits. He couldn't say that publicly, of course.
Thanks Scott. Sure helps one's mood. Will be doing everything in my district to flip it Dem. No complacency. Polls don't vote, people do. We need to vote in historic undeniable numbers to big to deny.
Hudson is a completely useless Trump Chump: good riddance if he gets bounced. I live in North Carolina, where the legislature spends a lot of time rigging elections through gerrymandering, and have been in and out of his district a couple of times. If their last effort turns out to have been a dummymander, great!

Tired_Thumb is far from alone.
In recent months, ICE has deployed a round-the-clock digital dragnet to scour the public internet—from Facebook to Instagram to X—for speech that could endanger the agency’s mission. The government has paid millions to private contractors to surface everything from potential threats to agents to activities that could disrupt ICE’s operations, according to federal documents, contractors and former Homeland Security Investigations agents.

Your neighbor here in Iowa agrees. Thanks.

Great news, what a positive way to start the day. Thank you Scott! I hope everyone has a peaceful day 😊

That POS needs to resign now. Next, he should go to jail for abusing his ex-wife and daughter.

We're working to support Richard Ojeda in NC-09. Look him up-- he's for real.

Hopeful about NE-01! We have a great candidate to unseat Mike Flood: Chris Backemeyer!
Now they need to let Dems choose the candidates.
Heartening news.
