Glad to have you here on Substack. I’ve been watching you since you were at WRC. Greatly appreciate your professionalism and thorough reporting. The consequences for Kristie Noem are common among those who enable malignant, narcissistic, toxic leaders. They try to ride the toxic leader’s coattails to self-promotion and self-enrichment. When they become dissatisfied in receiving the toxic leader’s handouts, they strike out on their own. While the toxic leader exploits others for personal gain, he does not appreciate others doing the same to him. When their lies are exposed, the result is being thrown under the bus. Guard rail institutions have trouble holding the toxic leader, accountable, but they have an easier time holding the toxic minions accountable.
"The Democrats recommendation is not expected to be well received – or acted upon - by Trump Administration officials at the U.S. Department of Justice. The agency is not bound by the recommendation to actual a launch a criminal probe." Largely symbolic at this time but necessary nonetheless.
Noem tried to answer Kennedy's questions with some delicate hair-splitting, saying Trump approved ads while being ambiguous about whether he approved these precise ads. But Kennedy was persistent. I wrote about the Kennedy-Noem exchange here:
“[Congress] will ask the Attorney General to review whether Noem knowingly made false statements…”
The tragedy here is that there is no other avenue to investigate the corrupt DHS Secretary than to ask the corrupt AG to do it.
Folks, we're all good now. Todd Blanche will take care of it!! :)
I'm glad to see some Democrats are still doing their jobs. However, with a corrupt DOJ nothing is going to happen.
An alternate headline, given Pam Bondi’s justice department, could be:
Justice Dept. to ignore referral to probe Kristi Noem for perjury.

You are such a talented reporter, Mr. MacFarlane. I will continue to follow you here. Thank you for your work.

Something might actually happen here. 1) distracts from his latest debacle; 2) draws some attention from Epstein; 3) she’s a woman.
If she’d only been held accountable for her crimes in South Dakota… But the same goes for most of the members of this regime.
I would watch Face The Nation only when I knew you were on it and I am thrilled that you are now on Substack. I hope you only the very best!!!
See if Lewandowski's Ferrari is parked in there.

Kennedy's take down of Noem was a precision strike. But it was too precise. Start asking why.
Kennedy was set up to nail Noem. Who at the White House had the knives out for Noem?
DO IT! We. Are. Watching.
Congress need not do this now. She will be pardoned.
Of course Bondi’s DOJ won’t do shit when Bondi herself is guilty of perjury.
